When we think of selling products, we tend to think of traditional brick and mortar stores or an online marketplace. Goldin tried her luck with a different kind of buyer: Tech hubs like Google, which stock their locations with free food and beverages for their employees. “Once we got into Google, we suddenly had all these new customers and fans,” Goldin says. “These people were going into other stores and advocating for us. You’re in a much better position when a store calls you and says, ‘Hey, we’d love to carry your product.’”

Because once Google notices you, you know you’ve made it big, right?
