In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Terry Richard, the ex-wife of singer Eddie Fisher, claimed Larry King sexually assaulted her on two separate occasions, both times during photo ops. King has denied these accusations in a statement to People.

Richard said the first incident occurred in 2005 at a baseball awards dinner at Universal Studios in Los Angeles. According to her, while the two were posing for a photo together, King slid his hand down her backless dress. She told the Daily Mail, “It ended up with about three or four of his fingers in the crack of my ass, resting in the crack of my ass.” This incident allegedly lasted for several seconds. Richard said that when it happened, “I just smiled there real big, I didn’t know what to do. He had a big smile on his face. I didn’t say anything, I didn’t want to cause a scene in front of everyone. My reaction was to slap him in his face but he was the guest speaker. It was awful.”

Richard also claimed King groped her in 2006, at another baseball awards event. She said she attempted to avoid King at the event, but later in the evening he made his way to her side and a photographer asked for a photo. This time, King allegedly grabbed her butt so hard King was bruised for a week. She said to the Daily Mail, “Larry groped me in front of everyone where I couldn’t say anything. He gets a thrill doing this in front of the camera, knowing I couldn’t do anything.”

In King’s statement to People, which he released after Richard’s interview came out, King denied these allegations outright. In his statement, he said he “flatly and unequivocally denies these claims” and furthermore that he “intends to file suit and prove that they’re utterly false.” Allure has reached out to King’s team for comment and will update this post if we receive a response.
