On Monday, Time magazine unveiled its latest cover, and it’s absolutely flawless. It features Mindy Kaling, Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, and Storm Reid — the lead actresses of A Wrinkle in Time — in black turtlenecks looking up at some unseen celestial spectacle. As director Ava DuVernay joked, “Hey Y’all. WRINKLE in @Time. Get it? Oh. Everybody gets it? Okay. I’ll just be over here. tips hat #WrinkleInTime.” While the gorgeous cover drew many an Internet gasp from the likes of Shonda Rhimes and Jessica Chastain, what some Twitter users really wanted to know was what lipstick shade they were all wearing.

As Refinery29 first reported, Entertainment Weekly correspondent Dana Schwartz launched this investigation when she posed the question to her Twitter followers. Uploading the Time cover featuring the elusive shade, Schwartz wrote, “WHAT LIPSTICK IS THIS THAT LOOKS GOOD ON ALL OF THEM?” They all seem to be wearing the same velvety matte formula in a rich berry hue, and the Internet demanded answers.

Twitter user @JessOB1kenobi simply uploaded a gif of Rihanna winking, implying this could be a Fenty Beauty lipstick. As Refinery29 theorized, since it’s matte, it could be from Fenty Beauty’s unreleased Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick Collection. Rihanna’s hotly anticipated lipstick line, which goes on sale December 26, boasts 14 shades designed to flatter all skin tones. Based on the shades, if it is a Fenty Beauty lipstick, it might be Ma’Damn, a blue-based red.

Meanwhile, Twitter user @comeongethappy thought it might be MAC Rebel. “It looks good on EVERYONE and is sometimes pink but sometimes purple depending on how it’s applied,” they wrote. Another user, @AmChab, thought it might be the famously universal MAC Ruby Woo.

Bess Kalb, a writer for Jimmy Kimmel Live!, also thought MAC Rebel was a contender and suggested Billie on the Bike by Rodin as another alternative. And @jrocro rounded off the options by suggesting Tom Ford Violet Fatale.

Whichever it is, we’ll be trying all of them on until we look just as good as Mindy, Oprah, Reese, and Storm.
