Tatcha — the Japanese skin-care brand behind the skin-sloughing Polished Rice Enzyme Powder, the Kardashian-fave Luminous Dewy Skin Mist, and the ridiculously in-demand Silk Primer — just launched what could be the sheet mask to end all sheet masks: The Luminous Dewy Skin Mask.
The mask draws inspiration from the brand’s Dewy Skin Mist. Both delivery systems rely on the same radiance-boosting ingredients, but the mask gives them a more saturated, concentrated form. Specifically, it’s drenched in a slightly creamy serum made with skin-plumping essential fatty acids, hydrating ginseng, a myriad of botanical oils, plus Tatcha’s Hadasei-3 complex — the brand’s hero blend of Japanese superfoods — rice, green tea, and algae. (It’s basically the secret sauce behind virtually all of Tatcha’s products.)
The sheet mask itself is made from paper-thin microfiber (we’re talking 100 times thinner than a strand of hair!) which — unlike some masks that slip off before you can snap a selfie — hugs facial contours and stays put for maximum absorption. The mask is drenched (practically dripping) in serum, and it smells botanical and spa-like, similar to the mist. Plus, it won’t irritate sensitive skin. Instead, it feels just as the perfect face mask should — cooling, soothing, and generally like a tall glass of water for thirsty, less-than-luminous skin.
You can snag the one of the new masks for $12, or treat yourself to four for $45. While it’s not the cheapest mask on the market, it’s the perfect companion for #SelfCareSunday… or any other day of the week when you need a foolproof shortcut to luminous skin. Shop it now on Tatcha’s website or online and in stores at Sephora.
