When it comes to Fenty Beauty products, it’s completely understandable to want as much as possible. (Rest assured, you’re not the only one who has fantasized about a gallon-size bottle of Pro Filt’r foundation.) But sometimes, good things come in small packages, as proven by the brand’s latest launch. After the highly anticipated descent from heaven of Body Lava and the rest of the Beach, Please! collection, Fenty Beauty has quietly introduced minis of the Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick.
Specifically, you can now get a pair called the Lil Match Stix Duo Mini Shimmer Skinstick Set, which includes shrunken-down (read: 0.09 ounces instead of 0.25 ounces) versions of two best-selling shades: Starstruck, an “ice-out pearl,” and Sinamon, a pun-tastic bronze. Available from both Sephora and fentybeauty.com for $22 — less than the price of a full-sized Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick ($25) — they take the product’s inherent portability to a new level, fitting with room to spare in clutches, pockets, and that inexplicable micro bag trend that’s still going strong.
This is typically where we would embed an Instagram post from @fentybeauty, but they somehow haven’t posted anything about this launch yet. (Is everything OK, guys? Do you need me to call someone?)
These aren’t Fenty Beauty’s first mini versions of a favorite product. Back in December, the brand launched the Bomb Baby Mini Lip and Face Set ($23), which includes little versions of Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer and Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Hu$tla Baby, and is — thank Rihanna — still available.
The Lil Match Stix Duo Mini Shimmer Skinstick Set is limited-edition, however, so get thee to a Fenty-eria before it sells out.
